Create a Quizz
Steps
-
Go to the "Quizzes" section in the Menu on the left side bar.

Click the "Add" button in the upper-right corner.

- Fill in the Quiz creation form:
- Enter the test name.
- If needed, add a short description.
- Select the subject and class from the lists.
- Choose whether the quiz will be public or private.
- If there is no time limit, leave the checkbox empty.
- If a time limit is applicable, check this box and specify the limit.
- “Show Results” option is responsible for displaying the test results to the student after quiz completion.

- Create the first question:
- Enter the text of the question.
- To add an image, click the corresponding icon and upload a picture.

- After adding an image, the question looks like this:

- Specify the number of points for the question and select an answer type from the list:
- One correct answer
- Multiple answers
- Matching answers
- Text response
- Exact answer
- Gap Fill (input)
- Gap Fill (Drag&Drop)

To add the next question, click “New question” under the current question field.

Choose the correct answers in the “Correct answer” column for each question.

After finishing the quiz creation, click “Save” at the bottom of the page.

The quiz will appear in the “Quizzes” section.

Question Types¶
Question type “One correct answer” or “Multiple answers”:¶

Select the question type “One correct answer” or “Multiple answers”.

Specify the number of points for the question.
-
Enter the answer options.
-
To add a new option, click “Add an Option”.
-
For each option, you can add an image or a formula.
-
To delete an option, click the “trash bin” icon.

Question type “Matching Answers”:¶

Select the question type “Matching Answers”.
-
Specify the number of points for the question.
-
Enter the matching pairs.
-
Remember that pairs are entered sequentially.
-
During the test, pairs will be shuffled.
-
Students match the pairs by dragging.

Question type “Text Response”¶
A text answer is an open-ended question that is checked manually by the teacher after submission.

Select “Text response”.
-
Specify the number of points for the question.
-
Describe the question or task.

Question type “Exact answer”¶
The system automatically checks the exact answer; however, the student’s text must fully match the correct answer.

Select the question type “Exact answer”.
-
Specify the number of points for the question.
-
Describe the question or task.

Enter the correct answer, which must fully match the student’s input.

Question type “Gap Fill (input)”¶
Gap Fill (input) is a text where some words or phrases are hidden and the student types them manually.

Select “Gap Fill (input)”.
-
Specify the number of points.
-
In the text field, enter the text containing blanks.
-
Highlight the word or phrase that should become a blank.
-
Click the square-with-plus “Add blank” button on the editor toolbar (Fig. 12).

Question type “Gap Fill ( Drag&Drop)”¶
This is a text with blanks that students fill by dragging correct options from the list.

Select “Gap Fill (Drag&Drop)”.

Specify the number of points.
-
Enter the text with blanks.
-
Highlight the word or phrase to convert to a blank.
-
Click the square-with-plus “Add blank” button on the editor toolbar.
-
Pay attention that each highlighted word automatically appears in the “Options” block.
-
To add an extra option, enter it in the “Add an Option” field.
-
To delete an option, click the “trash bin” icon.
-
Students drag words from “Options” into blanks during the quiz.

Copying Quizzes¶
- Go to “Quizzes” section.
- Find the quiz you want to duplicate.
- Click the three-dots menu next to the quiz.
- Select “Duplicate”.
- A copy of the quiz will appear in the list.
