Create PDF Journal Template
Creating a Journal Template in the PDF Designer and Generating a Report¶
⚠️ The PDF Designer is intended for creating journal templates that are used in the corresponding reports.
Steps¶
1. Creating a Template¶
- Go to: PDF Designer → Templates.
- Click ADD.
- In the Add window, enter the Title field and click Save.
- In the row of the desired template, click
and select Blocks.
2. Adding Blocks to the Template¶
- On the Blocks page, click ADD.
- In the Add window:
- select the required option in the Block field;
- specify the display order number (0, 1, 2, …) in the Sequence field;
- click Save.
3. Assigning the Template in Settings¶
- Go to: Settings → General Settings.
- Find the Journal Template parameter (or other journal templates) and click Edit.
- In the Edit: Journal Template window, select the desired option and click Save.
4. Generating a Report¶
- Open: Reports → Consolidated Gradebook (or another required section).
- Select Academic Period and Gradebook Section, then click Create.
- After creation, open the PDF for viewing or saving.

Useful to Know¶
- One template can be used simultaneously in several reports.
- If you changed the template but the report did not update — reload the page or regenerate the PDF.
- For different types of gradebooks (individual, group, concertmaster), always verify that the selected template corresponds to the report.
