Achievements

3. Achievements

Goal

The “Achievements” section shows all rewards that a user can receive for completing quests, tasks, activity, or achieving certain learning outcomes.

Types of achievements

  • for completing a quest;
  • for completing a task;
  • for regular activity;
  • for achieving learning goals;
  • story or special badges.

How achievements work

  1. The user meets the conditions (for example, completes a quest or a specific task).
  2. The system automatically verifies completion.
  3. The achievement changes to the “Activated” status.
  4. The user sees the achievement name, icon, and description, as well as the number of completed tasks within the achievement.
  5. For a received achievement, a reward is granted as a certain number of points.

Why achievements are needed

  • visualize progress;
  • increase motivation;
  • can unlock new features or content.

Summary

  • Quests — what needs to be done.
  • Inventory — what the user has.
  • Achievements — what the user has achieved.

All these sections form a complete gamification system that maintains interest in learning, makes it engaging and helps track progress in a clear and visual way.
