Deposit Rewards

Managing Deposit Rewards

Deposit Rewards lets SuperAdmins configure rules that deposit rewards to users when a required condition (Need) is met, optionally withdrawing items and overwriting existing inventory values.

⚠️ Changes here can immediately affect user inventories and gamification logic.

Steps

  1. Open the platform and login as a SuperAdmin.
  2. Go to “Gamification” and select “Deposit Rewards”.
  3. Find an existing rule (optional):
    1. Use the filters (for example “ID”, “Action Description”, “User Categories”, “Status”, or “Date” range).
    2. Click the search (magnifier) button.
    3. To clear filters, click the reset (X) button.
  4. Click “ADD” to create a new deposit reward rule.
  5. Fill in “Action Description”.
  6. Select “User Categories” (for example “All”, “Educator”, “Principal”, “Student”).
  7. Configure “Need” (required objects and quantities that must be met for the user to receive rewards).
  8. Configure “Withdraw” (objects and quantities that will be withdrawn from the user when the rule applies).
  9. Configure “Rewards” (objects and quantities that will be deposited to the user when the rule applies).
  10. Configure “Force Overwrite?”:
    1. Keep it disabled to add rewards on top of existing inventory values.
    2. Enable it to overwrite existing user inventory values instead of adding.
  11. Click “Submit” to save the rule.
  12. To update or remove a rule, locate it in the list, click Actions, then select the required action and click “Submit” to apply changes.
