Managing Tasks

Tasks define objectives that users can be assigned to complete for rewards. Tasks can be used in quests and achievements as part of gamification logic.

⚠️ Changing tasks can affect user progress and rewards.

Steps

  1. Open the platform and login as a SuperAdmin.
  2. Go to “Gamification” and select “Tasks”.
  3. Review the tasks list and available columns. If needed, click “COLUMNS” to show or hide columns.
  4. Find an existing task (optional):
    1. Use the filter row under the table headers (for example “ID”, “Caption (EN)”, “Object”, or “Description (EN)”).
    2. Click the search (magnifier) button.
    3. To clear filters, click the reset (X) button.
  5. Click “ADD” to create a new task.
  6. Fill in the required captions:
    1. “Caption (UK)”
    2. “Caption (EN)”
    3. “Caption (KK)”
    4. “Caption (RU)”
  7. Fill in “Object” as the internal task identifier used in gamification logic.
  8. Configure “Observable Need”:
    1. Enter the required quantity.
    2. Enter the “Object Name”.
  9. Configure “Need”:
    1. Enter the required quantity.
    2. Enter the “Object Name”.
  10. Configure “Withdraw” (optional):
    1. Enter the quantity to withdraw.
    2. Enter the “Object Name”.
  11. Configure “Rewards” (optional):
  12. Enter the quantity to deposit.
  13. Enter the “Object Name”.
  14. Fill in task descriptions (what the user will read) in all available languages:
    1. “Description (UK)”
    2. “Description (EN)”
    3. “Description (KK)”
    4. “Description (RU)”
  15. Add “Tags” (optional) if you use tags to group or filter tasks.
  16. Click “Submit” to save the task.
  17. To edit a task, click Actions next to the task and select “Edit”, update fields, then click “Submit”.
  18. To remove a task, click Actions next to the task and select “Remove”.
  19. To use a task in quests or achievements, reference the task “Object” in the related quest or achievement configuration.
