Notes Log

Student Notes

The Notes Log” section is designed for saving and managing comments about individual students. Notes can be Private or Public depending on the purpose and access level.

⚠️ After you delete a note, it cannot be restored.

Steps

  1. Open the platform and log in with a role that has access to student notes (for example, Administrator or Teacher).

  2. Go to “Notes Log” in the main menu.

  3. Click “Add” (blue button on the right).

  4. Fill in the required fields in the note form:

    • Section / Subsection — select the student’s section or subsection.
    • Student — select a student from the list.
    • Type — choose Private (Administrator only) or Public (visible to all Teachers and Administrator).
    • Note — enter the note text.
  5. Click “Submit” to add the note.

  6. To navigate through the notes more time-efficiently, use the filters at the top of the page: Date, Section/Subsection, Student, Author, and Type. You can combine filters for a more precise search.

  7. To edit or delete a note, find it in the list, click Actions on the right, and select “Edit” or “Remove”.

  8. If you choose “Edit”, make changes and click “Submit”.

  9. If you choose “Remove”, confirm the action. The note will be deleted permanently.
