Attendance Types¶
⚠️ Settings are available only to the Educational Institution Administration.
⚠️ The "Attendance" and "Reports Attendance" workspace modules must be activated.
The "Attendance Types" section allows the administrator to configure attendance status options that will be used in student journals.
Steps¶
- Open the "Settings" menu.
- Select "Attendance Types".
- To create a new attendance type, click the "Add" button in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Fill in the fields in the form:
- type
- display name
- short name
- is General?
- is Present? - Click "Submit".
By default, several attendance types are already created on the platform, including:
- Unexcused absence
- Due to illness
- Excused absence
- Unknown reason
- Present
The created attendance types are used:
- in class journals;
- in student attendance reports;
- for attendance analytics.
To edit an existing attendance type, click the context menu button to the right of the type and select one of the appropriate actions: Edit/Remove.
